International A-list film festival call for entries for first and second feature and short films by emerging directors.
Feature films must be the director’s first or second full-length cinematic work (fiction, documentary, or animation) exceeding 59 minutes and completed within the 12 months prior to the festival;
- must not have participated in any festival or film event (excluding markets) outside the country of origin (or anywhere, including France, for French features);
- must not have been shown on the internet, broadcast on TV, or commercially released anywhere, including the country of origin.
Short films are eligible under separate regulations.
Screening materials for features: upload of multiplexed file (progressive or de-interlaced, with burned-in subtitles if applicable), online link without restrictions, or DCP (prior validation required by Head of Film Department, with viewing link; no shipment to offices).
Films in French or English require no subtitles; other languages require French or English subtitles.
Only one version of the film will be previewed by the selection committee.
