Non-competitive international showcase in France presenting documentary, feature, and short films by established auteur filmmakers. Academy Awards and BAFTA qualification applies to designated short film awards.
Submissions are open to documentary, feature-length fiction and short films completed at the time of entry.
- Submitted works must be presented as an 'international premiere', meaning they may not have been publicly screened outside their country of origin, including at festivals, commercial cinemas, television, online platforms or public previews.
- Works previously presented in any section of the associated event or in other international selections are ineligible.
- Only one version of each film is accepted for consideration.
- Projects with prior international sales, broadcasting, distribution, or online exploitation that compromise premiere status are excluded.
- Screening materials must be supplied in a professional exhibition format consistent with the event’s technical standards, with a final mix and locked picture.
- A secure, high-quality viewing copy with embedded subtitles in English or French is required when the original language differs.
- Running times must clearly indicate whether the film is a short or feature; multi-part works, series, works-in-progress, trailers, advertising, and non-cinematic content are not accepted.
- Rights holders must guarantee all necessary authorisations, clearances and underlying rights for festival screenings.
